Radiesse is a synthetic filler the FDA has approved to reduce moderate to severe wrinkles and stimulate natural collagen production in the body. It’s comprised of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in a water-based gel and minerals found in our bones. It can be injected directly into the skin without pre-testing.
Radiesse is very effective when treating smile lines, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and other wrinkles in the nose and mouth. Results can be seen right away and last for longer than a year in some cases. Fewer injections will be needed as the patient continues in treatment. Radiesse can also be used to perform cheek augmentation, as well as filling hollow cheeks and acne scars.
Restylane Lyft is an FDA-approved dermal filler for implantation into the skin for the correction of moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds. Restylane Lyft is generated by a streptococcus species of bacteria.
Restylane is approved by the FDA to restore volume to the skin, which in turn lifts it and reduces wrinkles and other fine lines. It is comprised of hyaluronic acid and can also treat lines between the eyebrows and in nasolabial folds. Finally, it adds volume and shape to the lips.
Since Restylane uses a naturally occurring substance in the body, there is no need to pre-test. The results can be seen right away and last for several months, as the Restylane binds with water to remain in the skin longer. How long the results last also depend on the patient’s skin condition.
What Are Neuromodulators?
Neuromodulators are FDA-approved treatments used to temporarily improve the appearance of frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet in adults. Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are brands of botulinum toxin that have been used for decades with successful treatments.
What Are Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin?
These injectables work to temporarily improve the appearance of facial wrinkles and crow’s feet in adults. Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are currently the only FDA-approved neuromodulators of botulinum toxin A, for cosmetic use. Check our upcoming events to book a Botox party package with your friends!
Dysport and dermafillers temporarily replace missing volume and diminish fine lines and wrinkles.
If it’s time to get serious about your frown lines, please ask BHRC of Dallas about Dysport injectables, which must be prescribed by a licensed physician.
Dysport is brought to you by Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, the leading independent specialty pharmaceutical company in the U.S. focusing primarily on the treatment of dermatological and aesthetic conditions. Medicis also brings you Restylane®.*
Dysport is manufactured by Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, an American company that mainly focuses on treating dermatological and aesthetic conditions. They also make Restylane®.
If you’ve tried other methods to reduce frown lines to no avail, call BHRC of Dallas about Dysport.
You may not be a good candidate for Dysport injectables if:
- Your face has had previous surgery done to it
- The muscles in the area to be treated are very weak
- The appearance of your face varies greatly from side to side
- The area to be treated is inflamed
- Your eyelids sag or droop, or you have deep scarring, oily skin, or wrinkles that can’t be smoothed by hand
*Products are not FDA-approved for combination use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin can help block certain chemical signals from the nerves that cause your facial muscles to contract. These FDA-approved injectables temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause these wrinkles. Neuromodulators are the perfect form of treatment to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and crow’s feet in adults. Interestingly, they can also be used to treat other problems such as repetitive neck spasms (cervical dystonia), excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), an overactive bladder, and lazy eye.
When receiving injections, one of our medical spa’s experienced and advanced trained medical professionals will use a small needle to inject the tiny muscles responsible for creating your wrinkles with the Neuromodulator solution. When the solution is injected, the targeted muscle is unable to contract. Since the muscles remain relaxed, lines and wrinkles created by expressions become less visible.
If you suffer from:
- Frown lines between the eyebrows
- Crow’s-feet, the lines that fan out from the corners of the eyes
- Forehead furrows
Then these injections can help block certain chemical signals from your nerves that cause your facial muscles to contract. The injections temporarily relax the facial muscles that lie beneath your skin, causing these wrinkles.
The injections are relatively safe when performed by one of our experienced and advanced injectors. However, as with all forms of treatment, there are some possible side effects to be aware of, including:
- Pain, swelling or bruising
- Headache or flu-like symptoms
- Droopy eyelid or cockeyed eyebrows
- Crooked smile or drooling
- Eye dryness or excessive tearing
In order to reduce the possibility of side-effects occurring, Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center employs qualified and experienced medical professionals. A mandatory consultation will also be provided before you are accepted for treatment, during which the professional will advise you on the procedure and help determine if this treatment best suits your needs and health.
If you are unsure of which Neuromodulator is best for you, we highly suggest scheduling a consultation. During your consultation, one of our experienced Medical Professionals will discuss with you your areas of concern and advise you on the procedure and help determine which one will best suit your needs and health. Consultations are 100% complimentary.
